Candidates for master programmes offered by College of Europe selected in Moldova

Chisinau, 14 March /MOLDPRES/ - On 13-14 March, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE) and the College of Europe have organised for the fourth consecutive year the selection of candidates from Moldova for the master's programs offered by the College of Europe, the MAEIE information and media communication service has reported.
Every year, the European Commission provides a large number of scholarships for the countries of the European Neighbourhood Policy. The selection procedure is organised according to the criteria set by the College of Europe.
The main mission of the College of Europe is to prepare graduate students for the public services that are working on political processes, economic, legal and international integration and European affairs.
During the meeting of the Deputy Minister of foreign affairs and European integration Daniela Morari with the representatives of the College of Europe, the candidates’ level of knowledge of Moldova’s relations with the European Union has been discussed. At the same time, the interlocutors highlighted the importance of broadening the partnership with the College of Europe by organizing courses on European affairs for civil servants responsible for the implementation of the EU-Moldova Association Agreement, as well as traineeships schemes at the MFAEI for College students.
The College of Europe is a private university/institution, established in 1949 in Bruges in (Belgium), and in 1992 the Natolin (Warsaw, Poland). It is considered to be the oldest and most prestigious institution of postgraduate studies in the European Union.
