Moldovan government rules to earmark 110 million lei to renovate six education institutions

Chisinau, 15 March /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers, at a today’s meeting, approved a government decision on the financing of works for renovating institutions of primary, upper secondary and lyceum education, subordinated to the local public authorities in 2017, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
As much as 110 million lei from the state budget will be allocated to restore the lyceums from the town of Iargara (southern Leova district), Gotesti village (southern Cantemir district), Costesti town (northern Riscani district), Sipoteni village (central Calarasi district), Salcuta village (eastern Causeni district) and the gymnasium of the Varzaresti village (central Nisporeni district).
The needed financial means for renovating the aforementioned six institutions were approved in the State Budget Law for 2017, from the World Bank’s loan within the Reform in Education project.
