Moldovan president meets Russian delegation

Chisinau, 16 March /MOLDPRES/- President Igor Dodon has had a meeting with a delegation from Astrakhan region, Russia, led by Vice Governor, Chairman of the government Konstantin Markelov, the presidential press service has reported.

The sides discussed a wide range of issues related to political and commercial relations between the two countries, as well as interregional cooperation relations.

Also, the officials approached the topic focused on increasing Moldovan enterprises production export to Astrakhan region and drawing Russian investors in Moldovan economy.

"Commercial relations between the regions have a great cooperation potential. I am sure that our relations with Astrakhan and other regions of Russia will have a positive dynamics", he said.

The Russian side showed great interest and openness for cooperation.
