Moldovan, American officials discuss bilateral cooperation

Chisinau, 22 March /MOLDPRES/- On a working visit to Washington D.C., Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur had a meeting with Executive Director of the McCain Institute for International Leadership Kurt Volker and Senior Director for Human Rights and Democracy of the institute David Kramer.

According to the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service, Galbur reviewed the priorities of Moldovan-American cooperation, as well as the results of efforts for implementing reforms on country modernisation, in line with the commitments taken by signing the EU-Moldova Association Agreement.

At the same time, the sides approached the importance of programmes carried out in Moldova under the auspices of McCain Institute. They also tackled the latest domestic political developments in the United States.
