Deputy premier meets ambassador of Switzerland to Moldova

Chisinau, 29 March /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Balan received the Ambassador of Switzerland to Moldova with residence in Kiev, S.E. Guillaume Scheurer, today.

According to the office for reintegration policies’ press service, it was also discussed main developments in the Transnistrian settlement process.

Gheorghe Balan pointed out the need to carry on the efforts in negotiation process to identify a viable solution to the Transnistrian issue Chisinau said determination to keep active all existing platforms for dialogue.

At his turn, Ambassador S.E. Guillaume Scheurer assured that Switzerland would support the future development projects of Moldova, providing assistance and support to promote the reintegration process.

By the meeting end, both officials agreed on the need to maintain a constructive dialogue focused on common interest issues.
