Chisinau, 31 March /MOLDPRES/ - An ordinary meeting of the Joint Control Commission (JCC), chaired by Russia’s delegation, during which 11 subjects were tackled, took place in the Bender city on 30 March, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The Commission approved a weekly report of the Joint Military Command (CMI) on the situation in the Security Zone.
At the same time, the Bureau said that a meeting of the JCC co-heads, Representatives of Ukraine and OSCE had taken place on 28 March, in order to identify an amicable solution to carry out the item 3 of the official report No 828 from 13 January 2017, which provides for the initiation and working out of a mechanism of monitoring the situation in the Security Zone.
“The arguments and proposals by the Moldovan delegation and Ukraine’s representative, expressed on the subject, were not accepted by the Transnistrian component, which showed its non-constructive stance and lack of a positive dialogue,” reads a press release by the Reintegration Policies Bureau.
In the context, Moldova’s representatives in JCC found out that Tiraspol’s delegation, tacitly backed by the component of the Russian delegation, with different tricks and interpretations showed indifference and sabotaged the earlier taken commitments.
Other up-to-date issues were transferred for the next meeting, due on 6 April 2017, the communiqué by the Reintegration Policies Bureau also reads.
