Chisinau, 3 April /MOLDPRES/- The cooperation agreement between Moldova and Eurasian Union, due to be signed today by President Igor Dodon, is a null document without legal value. Prime Minister Pavel Filip made the statement today after a weekly meeting of the Democratic Party of Moldova.
The premier noted that by signing this document “Dodon tries to continue the war against the Association Agreement. This agreement shall not be legally, the document is not signed on behalf of the country, has no approval of the Foreign and European Integration Ministry and does not comply with legal norms. In Moldova, the parliament is the representative body, it approves the internal and external policy. It is true that the president conducts negotiations, but he must submit it to the parliament for ratification, as provided by law. Therefore, Dodon must declare his partners that it is not a document to have legal effects”, he said.
At the same time, Filip pointed out that the meeting focused on the reform agenda, pension system and creation of a single office for providing quality services to citizens. “People will go to one institution and will benefit from quality services. Thus, the Register state-owned enterprise will be reorganized into a public institution – Public Service Agency, which will join the companies Register and Cadastre, Licensign Chamber, State Registration Chamber and Registrar Office. This way, bureaucracy will be reduced, and citizens will have access to quality services from the state”, he concluded.
Also, the premier approached the results of his visit to Brussels.
