Moldovan national army engineers anihilate 40 explosives in March

Chisinau, 03 April /MOLDPRES/ – During March this year, the National Army engineers moved to localities of Anenii Noi, Briceni, Causeni, Nisporeni, Ocnita and Stefan Voda, where liquidated 40 explosives.
According to the Defence Ministry’s public relations service, three explosive devices remaining in the soil from the World War Two (WWII), were found by farmers in Plop-Stiubei village, Causeni district, during agricultural works.
Some othe three objects, of a high explosive risk, were liquidated in the outskirts of Vulcanesti town by engineers of Motorized Infantry Brigade Dacia in Cahul. All munitions were liquidated on special polygons in compliance with all safety rules.
According to Defence Ministry, since the beginning of the current year, the National Army engineering teams have liquidated 68 explosives.
