Chisinau, 11 January /MOLDPRES/- Foreign and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi yesterday took the oath during a festive ceremony at the state residence, the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media relations service has reported.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip wished him success in exercising his mandate.
For his part, Ulianovschi noted that the goals and efforts of Moldova’s foreign policy remain constant in order to effectively promote national interests, and pointed out the priorities of his mandate. These include: improving the diplomatic service, strengthening the MAEIE’s role in foreign policy coordination both at the bilateral and multilateral level, deepening the dialogue with the EU member states, other European states in order to ensure support to achieving the strategic goals of Moldova in European integration, the application of intelligent diplomacy with a greater emphasis on public diplomacy and access to quality consular services and bureaucracy, development of economic diplomacy, establishment of an open and accessible dialogue with the media.
