Over 360 drivers fined for speeding in recent days

Chisinau, 29 May /MOLDPRES/- A total of 367 drivers have been fined over the past two days for speeding.
Natalia Golovco, a press officer of the National Patrol Inspectorate, said that of the total number of documented drivers, eight were registered with the radar device while driving over 100 km/h in areas where the limit is 50 km/h.
The speed record is held by a 40-year-old man from Balti.
According to the legislation, drivers who exceed the legal speed limit are sanctioned by a fine of up to 1,500 lei with penalty of five points.
