Moldovan summer camps to host free leisure of 150 pupils from Ukraine

Chisinau, 11 July /MOLDPRES/ – One hundred pupils from eastern regions of Ukraine and fifty pupils from the Ukrainian institutions with teaching in Romanian will go free to the Moldovan summer camps. The government has approved today a decision in this respect.

According to the government's communication and protocol department, there will be purchased 150 tickets by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research (MECC) to support rehabilitation and leisure of Ukrainian children, as well as to promote intercultural dialogue among younger generations. The pupils will also visit the tourist destinations in Moldova. In order to promote the image of Moldova and cultivate national values, there were purchased 150 tourist packages.

The cost of organising summer rest for children from Ukraine is estimated at MDL 286 thousand.

During this summer season, 100 pupils from Romania have benefited of free tickets for holiday camps and visiting tourist attractions in Moldova.
