Moldovan parliament holds last meeting of spring session

Chisinau, 27 July /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today held its last meeting of the spring session. The MPs approved a decision on the ending of the first ordinary session of this year.

The session ended with the signing of the National Anthem by pupils of the Ciprian Porumbescu republican musical lyceum from Chisinau.

Under the legislation, the lawmakers will return to work in next September and the first plenary meeting will take place in mid-September at the latest.

According to the parliament’s regulation, the legislative body holds two ordinary sessions per year. The spring session starts in February and cannot exceed the end of July. The autumn session starts in September and cannot exceed late December.

The first plenary meeting of the parliament of the 2018 spring session took place on 8 February.
