Residents of two villages from central Moldova district to be connected to gas supply

Chisinau, 5 September /MOLDPRES/ - The residents of the Trebujeni and Ivancea villages, central Orhei district, will be connected to the gas supply network, after the branch gas pipe Ivancea-Branesti-Furceni-Trebujeni was inaugurated today.
The total cost of the gas pipeline is about 15 million lei. Over ten million lei of this sum was allocated from the state budget and the rest of the money was taken from the budget of the Orhei district council. The gas pipe has a length of more than 18 km. Besides, two stations of regulating the gas pressure and 9 distribution boxes have been constructed.
Attending the event was also Education, Culture and Research Minister Monica Babuc. “This project is for people, for citizens and through connection to gas supply, including of education institutions, we invest, in fact, in the education of our children. The carrying out of such projects gives us certainty and confidence in a prosperous future here, at home,” the official stressed, according to a press release by the Education, Culture and Research Ministry.
In particular, three gymnasiums, three kindergartens, 24 enterprises, as well as numerous tourist boarding houses work in the settlements connected to the gas pipe.
