Eighty per cent of works of public illumination nearby Chisinau-based schools, kindergartens completed

Chisinau, 19 September /MOLDPRES/ - The works of rehabilitation of public illumination nearby the schools and kindergartens from the Moldovan capital are to be completed till 10 October. Eighty per cent of these works have been carried out so far.

The works regard, in particular, the replacement of deteriorated electricity pillars and torn cables, change of street lamps and illumination elements. According to the Chisinau city hall, starting from last July till present, works of rehabilitation of illumination have been carried out nearby 140 pre-school and pre-university institutions.

Three million lei has been allocated to implement the programme on repair of public illumination.

The works began in July 2018, As many as 145 primary and secondary education institutions, as well as 159 pre-school education establishments work in Chisinau.
