Chisinau, 2 October /MOLDPRES/- The government will soon come up with a new draft law on wage. Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu made the statement today.
Candu said that there is currently a very large gap between wages and the authorities have to find a formula to have salary increases for certain categories of professions.
"The government is about to come up with this bill soon. There is a fairly large gap between salaries, there are people who have wages less than 1,000 lei, and there are others who have very high salaries, if we talk about those from regulatory agencies. For this gap, we have to find a formula, so that we have salary increases for some vulnerable categories, such as: teachers, educators. We will work on this issue to determine how we will increase salaries in the future, taking into account the inflation rate, as well as other criteria based on economic formulas," he said.
He added that the next two weeks, parliament could also consider the Trade Law, so that local producers enjoy additional protection.
