Agenda of cultural events in Moldova for 04 – 05 October

Chisinau, 03 October /MOLDPRES/ – In the twenty – eighth staging of the National Theatre Satiricus I. L. Caragiale, inaugurated on 28 September, it takes place the third issue of the International Theatre Festival in Chisinau on 04 – 14 October, dedicated to the Centenary of the Union.
According to the organisers, issue 2018 is titled: De la national la universal (From national to universal). The event includes theatres from 8 countries: Moldova, England, France, Italy, Romania, Turkey, USA and Ukraine, and the host of the issue is the contemporary Romanian playwright Matei Visniec.
The festival takes place for 11 days in more theaters of Chisinau. Totally, there are presented about 30 performances, including 9 performances by Matei Visniec.
The Festival official opening is on 05 October, at 19:30, with performance: Angajare de clovn by Matei Visniec, presented by the National Theatre Satiricus I. L. Caragiale directed by Matei Visniec.
At Festival, on 09 October, at 10:00, at the Satiricus Theatre it is screened documentary: Parisul lui Matei, dedicated to Matei Visniec and TVR Iasi. There is also a dialogue with Matei Visniec about the trends of the dramaturgy movement from national to universal.
There are also organised free discussions on the topic, book launches, press conferences etc. for the purpose of analising and promoting the presented performances.
On 04 October, at 18:00, National Theatre Mihai Eminescu hosts play: Pomul vietii by Dumitru Matcovschi, directed by Alexandru Cozub. On the same day, at 18:30, on the stage of Satiricus Theatre it is played: Prostii sub clar de luna by Teodor Mazilu.
On 05 October, at 17:30, Republican Theatre Luceafărul presents performance: Kebab by Gianina Carbunariu. On same day, at 18:00, the National Theatre Mihai Eminescu plays: Tache, Ianche si Cadar by Victor Ion Popa, directed by Vitalie Rusu.
