Managerial degree of teachers to be taken into account when paying salaries

Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/- About 1,200 people with leading positions in educational institutions will receive salary bonuses for holding managerial level.  A decision to this effect was approved today by the executive to motivate staff to develop professionally and to maximize their intellectual and creative potential.

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the increase for managerial efficiency will be paid according to the degree obtained from the professional certifications, so for the managerial level two it will be 300 lei, for the managerial level one - 600 lei and 1,000 lei - for higher degree. The cost of implementing the project for the current year in education institutions financed directly from the budget is about 20.2 million lei.

Also, the amendments also refer to senior teachers in educational institutions with financial self-management, namely the technical vocational education. Implementation of this action to 140 senior teachers will cost about 2.5 million lei.

However, the document sees awarding the annual prize for the results of the activity of the persons holding public dignity functions and civil servants from the local public administration. It will be paid on the basis of the extra income earned by the local authorities in the budget year 2018. The amount of a prize will not exceed 3 monthly salary calculated for November last year.
