Moldovan meteorologists inform about Yellow Code of strong wind

Chisinau, 10 March /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) informed about a Yellow Code of strong wind for today.

According to meteorologists, gustings of the north-western wind with a speed up to 18-23 metres/second are forecast for today.

In this context, rescuers recommend to avoid places where there are dry trees or high-tension electric wires.

With the gusting of the wind, the air temperature will not change considerably and short rains are expected in more regions of Moldova. SHS data shows that, on the next days, the air temperatures will oscillate between +12 and +17 Celsius degrees during the day and between +3 and +7 degrees at night.

In case of Yellow Code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous; the meteorological phenomena forecast are usual for the territory of Moldova, but temporarily can become dangerous for certain social and economic activities.
