Moldovan president meets with Turkish Ambassador

Chisinau, 03 December /MOLDPRES/ – President of Moldova, Igor Dodon, has met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkey to Moldova, Gürol Sökmensüer, the presidency’s press service has reported.
In the dialogue, the officials have found with satisfaction the strategic character of the relations between Moldova and Turkey. In this context, the head of state has noted that Turkey is an important partner with which Moldovan leadership has developed mutually beneficial collaborative relations in all areas of common interest.
Particularly, the parties have discussed details of the official visit which Igor Dodon has planned to undertake in the coming weeks in Turkey, at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Also, the head of state has emphasised that Moldova is interested in taking over the experience of Turkish partners in various sectors, especially in attracting investments from Turkey in implementing different socio – cultural projects, but also in infrastructure.
