Moldovan PM has discussion with ambassador of Belarus in Chisinau

Chisinau, 13 December /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister, Ion Chicu, has had today a discussion with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus in Moldova, Siarhei Chichuk, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The ambassador has congratulated the Prime Minister on investing in office and wished the Chicu Government success, emphasising the friendly character of bilateral relations.
The Head of the Executive has informed the Ambassador about the Government's plan to invest massively in 2020, in development of road infrastructure in order to boost the process of modernising the national economy, also mentioning in the priority list the justice reform.
The officials have spoken for intensifying the dialogue, confirming the existence of cooperation opportunities in areas such as road construction, creation of joint industrial enterprises, development of IT industry. In this context, it has been addressed the topic of tariff reduction for roaming services.
PM Chicu has said that he is convinced that the intensification of communication on platform of the Moldovan – Belarusian Joint Intergovernmental Commission will boost bilateral economic exchanges.
