PM discusses with residents of locality of central district of Moldova

Chisinau, 14 December /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister, Ion Chicu, has paid a visit to village Niscani, Calarasi district, on Saturday. There the Premier has visited the family with 3 children, which has recently lost their home following a bonfire, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
PM has encouraged them to find strength to overcome the difficult challenge. In the discussion with mayor, PM has asked to identify, in village, an uninhabited house that could become a temporary home for the suffering family. Ion Chicu has assured that a commission of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) will assess the condition of burnt dwelling, after which the Government will allocate material assistance to the family for restoring the property.
Being in Niscani, PM has met with authorities and inhabitants with whom he has discussed the village problems. PM has informed people about the actions planned by Government in 2020, among which he has mentioned the massive public investments in infrastructure and increase of budgetary salaries on average by 10 per cent.
"So as to develop economy we shall invest in road infrastructure and in 2020 we shall build more roads. The investments will continue on the roads in localities too,” said PM.
The people have spoken to chief of Executive about the needs of locality, such as completing the water supply project, continuing the solid waste management project, street lighting and repairing the Family Physicians Office (OMF).
PM has assured that the Government will communicate and cooperate permanently with local authorities (AL) in order to increase the well – being of people and quality of life.
