Moldovan poet, publicist, teacher turned 85 today

Chisinau, 25 June /MOLDPRES/- Poet, publicist, journalist and teacher Vitalie Zagaevschi, holder of the Civic Merit Medal turned 85 today.
He was born on July 25, 1936, in the village of Palanca, Cotova commune, Soroca county, today Drochia district.
He graduated from high school in the village of Chetrosu, Drochia, after which he continued his studies at the State University of Moldova, Faculty of Philology, specialty Romanian Language and Literature (1963).
He signed articles about the emeritus choirs of the Republic of Moldova from Nicoreni and Sofia villages, about the Music School for children from Drochia, about various personalities in the field of culture etc.
He edited journalism books.
In 1997, he was awarded the Civic Merit Medal.
