Moldovan electoral body starts printing ballots

Chisinau, 26 June /MOLDPRES/- The Central Electoral Commission announced that today at the Chisinau Printing House, the printing of ballots for the upcoming parliamentary elections has begun.
The first are printed ballots that will be distributed to polling stations open abroad.
In accordance with the provisions of the Electoral Code, the representatives of the electoral contestants, media and accredited observers were able to witness the process of making the ballot mold, the printing of the ballots, as well as the liquidation of the mold.
Yesterday, the CEC announced that a total of 3,521,642 ballot papers will be printed for the 11 July elections - 2,794,942 for polling stations in the country and 726,700 ballot papers for polling stations organized abroad.
23 candidates will participate in the snap elections - 20 political parties, 2 electoral blocs and an independent candidate.
