As many as 52 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 26 June /MOLDPRES/- A number of 5,611 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 52 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which four import ones. As many as 256,527 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), no cases are registered among medical employees.

As many as 183 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 38 are in extremely serious condition (eight patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 616 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 16,123 are under supervision at home.

Another 53 people have been treated. As many as 249,518 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another two deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,183 people have died of coronavirus in all.
