Moldovan theater, film actress celebrates birthday

Chisinau, 28 June /MOLDPRES/- Theater and film actress Viorica Chircă, People's Artist, is celebrating her 80th birthday today.

She was born in 1941 in Chisinau. She graduated from the Faculty of Theater, the specialty of theater and cinema actor of the Institute of Arts G. Musicescu (1963), currently the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts in Chisinau, class of Arcadie Plaţânta and E. Platon.

Since 1961 she has been employed at the Musical-Dramatic Theater A. S. Pushkin currently the Mihai Eminescu National Theater in Chisinau.

She created several faces of women in the plays of Moldovan playwrights, showing fantasy and professional competence.

She was awarded the honorary title of People's Artist of the Republic of Moldova for special merits in the artistic field and for her talent, which brought on stage special roles, with the order Badge of Honor and the medal Mihai Eminescu.
