National Justice Institute of Moldova informs about admission for 2021

Chisinau, 28 June /MOLDPRES/ - The National Justice Institute (INJ) has informed about the contest for admission for initial training on the period October 2021 – April 2023: 15 places for candidates for the judge office and 20 places for candidates for the prosecutor position.
According to INJ, the person who meets the conditions for holding the positions of judge and prosecutors, provided for by the law on the status of judge and law on prosecutor’s office, can register for the contest. Or, the candidate must have Moldova’s citizenship and has his/her residence in Moldova; should have full legal competence; must have degree in law or its equivalent; should have a diploma of master in law or its equivalent; must not have criminal antecedents; should enjoy an irreproachable reputation; must know the Romanian language; should be capable to hold the position from the medical viewpoint; should not have records in the professional integrity record in the last five years, etc.
The person who asks for being admitted to the Institute to put up his/her candidacy for the judge office must have a length of service of at least two years in professions of legal specialty: prosecutor; lawyer, ombudsman, notary, bailiff, criminal investigation officer; probation adviser; legal specialty staff at notary offices; titular trainer or holding more offices in the law sector at the National Justice Institute, titular teacher in the law field, staff of legal specialty at INJ, of the Superior Council of Magistracy and Superior Council of Prosecutors, Constitutional Court, Justice Ministry, law courts and prosecutor’s offices. employees of legal departments/sections or their counterparts from other public authorities, as well as other legal specialties, the list of which is established by Moldova’s government. The length of service includes only the period of work after getting the title of degree in law.
The applications for registration at the contest are submitted online (the link will become active as of 1 July, in the INJ’s Information System, on the period 1-30 July).
