Diplomacy heads of Moldova, Qatar have meeting

Chisinau, 28 June /MOLDPRES/ - The boosting of the Moldova-Qatar cooperation was discussed at a meeting between acting Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Aureliu Ciocoi and his counterpart from Qatar, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, in the context of participation in the ministerial meeting of the Global Coalition Against ISIS in Rome.
The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has told MOLDPRES that the Moldovan diplomacy head expressed thanks to the Qatari government for the consignment of humanitarian assistance meant to improve the services of the medical system from Moldova: 3.5 tons, which contains medical ventilators, monitors with vital functions, ultrasound apparatus.
Aureliu Ciocoi noted that the assistance provided to Moldova represented a gesture of solidarity and proved, once again, that the friendship and mutual support relations between the sides became more and more solid.
The officials reviewed the present stage of the Moldova-Qatar cooperation and highlighted the positive dynamic of the cooperation both between the foreign affairs ministries and the interior ministries.
In the context, Minister Aureliu Ciocoi emphasized Moldova’s interest in enhancing the bilateral dialogue on the economic dimension, through the paying of visits by official delegations, which will help optimize the cooperation in the commercial and investment sectors.
