Meteorologists announce yellow heatwave code in Moldova

Chisinau, 29 June /MOLDPRES/- The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has announced a yellow heatwave code for tomorrow.

According to meteorologists, the country will be covered by heat, and over large areas the maximum air temperature will be +34 degrees Celsius.

In this context, doctors warn, especially the elderly, pregnant women, children and patients with cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, allergy sufferers to avoid sun exposure, to opt for open clothes, preferably made of natural cloth, to cover their heads and take care of hydration.

According to meteorologists, on 1 July in different sectors of the country rains are expected to fall. Starting with 2 July, the weather will cool down a bit, reaching, throughout the country, up to +28 degrees Celsius during the day, and 20 degrees at night.
