Moldovan head of state pays working visit to eastern district

Chisinau, 29 June /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today paid a working visit to the eastern Anenii Noi. The head of state discussed with mayors, entrepreneurs, physicians, headmasters and directors of kindergartens the actions  which should be undertaken to improve the situation in Moldova and in each sector, the presidential press service has reported.  

„There are a lot of challenges and I demand quick actions: we should rethink the state’s policies in agriculture, turning it more resistant to the climate changes and more competitive; develop the processing industry; re-launch the economy, through programmes on support of the small business and by simplifying the regulation framework; invest in education and medical health services; back cultural activities,’’ the Moldovan president said.   

The head of state noted that there was much to do and that the people from Anenii Noi understood that, in order to succeed, one must work with dedication and competent and honest people should be brought to the head of the state’s institutions.  

„It is up to us to have a parliament and government made up of just and professional people, who are to take into account the citizens’ needs and work for their good. For this, we must go to vote on 11 July and vote for such people!’’ Maia Sandu stressed.
