Chisinau police applied fines of about two million lei for street trade

Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/- Earlier this year, police in the capital applied fines worth 1,893,500 lei for illegal business.
According to the Capital's Police Directorate, in the last days, the law enforcement officers, together with the APL employees, conducted raids in markets and streets in several sectors on illegal business activity.
The measures are aimed at combating illegal street trade, so police are urging traders to sell products in authorized places.
Employees of the capital's police jointly with the authorities announce they will continue to carry out activities to prevent street trade, especially perishable products.
