Meteorologists warn about Yellow Code of storm, after dog days' warning in Moldova

Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/ - Meteorologists have informed about a Yellow Code of atmospheric instability till 1 July. The warning completes the yellow code of dog days, extended till 1 July.

According to the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS), on the concerned period, thunderstorm rains are expected all over Moldova, 15-35 litres per one square metre in some regions, with hail and strong wind, gusting to 15-20 metres/second.

At the same time, the yellow code of hot weather is valid on 1 July too. On this period, the air temperature will reach +33 Celsius degrees in most regions. At night, the air temperature will decrease to +20 degrees.

In case of Yellow Code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous, the forecast meteorological phenomena are usual for Moldova; yet, they may temporarily become dangerous for certain social and economic activities.
