Chisinau, 1 July /MOLDPRES/- The 1 July Official Journal published decision of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) on the approval of the Methodology for calculating and applying prices to petroleum products.

According to the document, the supervision of compliance with the provisions of the Methodology by licensees for the import and marketing of major petroleum products and liquefied gas is carried out by the National Agency for Energy Regulation, in the manner and within the limits established by the Energy Law and the Law on state control over entrepreneurial activity.

Also, ANRE approved the values of margins for wholesale and retail trade of main petroleum products and liquefied gas, for the second half of 2021 (01.07.2021-31.12.2021).

Petroleum products in stock on the date of entry into force of this Decision shall be considered as a single item, and the maximum prices for them shall be determined on the basis of the average value of the average quotations for each type of product on that day.

The decision enters into force today, once published in the Official Journal.
