Moldovan football teams performed poorly in Europe Conference League

Chisinau, 9 July /MOLDPRES/- No team from the Republic of Moldova has registered victories in Europe Conference League.

Thus, the teams Milsami Orhei and Petrocub Hâncești ended in a draw the football matches in which they played, and Sfântul Gheorghe Suruceni suffered a stinging defeat.

Milsami Orhei drew 0-0 with FK Sarajevo, the multiple champions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The match played in Orhei was very close to ending with a defeat for the host team, the guests missing a penalty in the first half.

At the same time, Petrocub Hâncești ended in a draw, 1-1, the match with the Macedonian team, FK Sileks. The goal of the vice-champion of the Republic of Moldova was scored by the defender Maxim Potârniche in the extra time of the first half.

On the other hand, the holder of the Moldovan Cup and Super Cup, Sfântul Gheorghe Suruceni was defeated by Partizani Tirana in the match played in Elbasan, score 2-5.
