Moldovan speaker meets members of CIS AIP observer mission

Chisinau, 10 July /MOLDPRES/- Results of snap parliamentary elections will reflect correctness of the organization and conduct of the election, speaker Zinaida Greceanii said at today's meeting with a delegation of the Observatory Mission of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States, chaired by Dmitry Kobitki, Secretary General of the Council of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.

The Speaker said that every citizen of the Republic of Moldova must exercise his right to vote freely, safely and without being influenced. Compliance with these provisions must be monitored by international observers.

In this context, Zinaida Greceanii thanked the representatives for their presence in the snap parliamentary elections of 11 July.

The head of the delegation, Dmitry Kobitsky, noted the good organization of previous elections in the Republic of Moldova and voiced confidence that the elections will be held at the level of democratic standards. He said that the CIS AIP Mission will present report at a press conference after election.
