As many as 76 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 10 July /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, 4,949 tests were processed in the Republic of Moldova, 76 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were confirmed, including four imports. Thus, so far, 257,419 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, in the new cases, one is among the medical workers - a representative of the auxiliary staff.

In total, 210 people confirmed with COVID-19 infection are hospitalized, of which 60 are in extremely serious condition (12 patients are connected to assisted breathing devices).

There are 559 people in home treatment with mild and moderate forms of COVID-19, and 17,996 are under home supervision.

Another 77 patients were treated. In total, 250,384 patients were treated by COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another death caused by COVID-19, the death toll reached 6,208.
