Moldovan speaker exercised right to vote

Chisinau, 11 July /MOLDPRES/- Today Speaker Zinaida Greceanii exercised her right to vote in snap legislative elections.

"I voted for a team of statesmen, professionals, who previously knew how to manage many crises in the country. I hope to have such a team in the Parliament, which will not be influenced, will not befriend someone against someone else and will work for the good of the country ", she said.

Greceanii urged all citizens to go to polls to "decide their fate" and stressed that "after the election, there is still life."

Today, Moldovan citizens elect a new composition of the country's Legislature, in the snap parliamentary elections. 23 electoral contestants - 20 political parties, two electoral blocs and an independent candidate participate in today's election.
