PAS leader votes for change

Chisinau, 11 July /MOLDPRES/- Acting leader of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) Igor Grosu today exercised his right to vote in the legislative election and urged all Moldovan citizens to stand for election.
"I voted for change. I saw people in the morning sitting at 5.00 and waiting to vote. We have to understand that every vote counts and an exemplary presence will mean the victory of the people ", he said.
According to Grosu, "people want change, they want to get rid of thieves". "We started the change in November and we must continue it today," he said.
Snap parliamentary elections are held in the Republic of Moldova today. For the 101 mandates of deputy, 20 political parties, two electoral blocs and an independent candidate are competing. The polls opened at 7:00 and will close at 21:00. At today's polls, about 3,282,288 voters are expected at the polling stations.
