As many as 48 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 11 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,109 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 48 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 257,467 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of all cases registered is among medical employees.

As many as 181 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 53 are in extremely serious condition (12 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 557 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 18,005 are under supervision at home.

Another 63 people have been treated. As many as 250,447 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of one death triggered by COVID-19 and 6,209 people have died of coronavirus in all.
