As many as 76 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 16 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,163 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 76 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which three import ones. As many as 257,842 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of all new cases registered is among medical employees.

As many as 162 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 50 are in extremely serious condition (10 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 541 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 19,180 are under supervision at home.

Another 79 people have been treated. As many as 250,798 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another three deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,222 people have died of coronavirus in all.
