As many as 43 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 18 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 2,584 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 43 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 257,946 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of all new cases registered today is among medical employees.

As many as 187 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 54 are in extremely serious condition (nine patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 545 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 19,464 are under supervision at home.

Another 52 people have been treated. As many as 250,913 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another two deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,226 people have died of coronavirus in all.
