Revenues worth 14,478.7 million lei collected in social insurances budget of Moldova

Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ - Revenues worth 14,478.7 million lei were collected in the state social insurances budget in the first six months of 2021, or 54.8 per cent of the national plan established of 26,400.5 million lei.  

According to data by the National Social Insurances House (CNAS), contributions of mandatory social insurances worth 7,745.1 million lei were collected, which accounts for 51.4 per cent of the annual sum envisaged of 15,080.1 million lei, up  by 14.6 per cent against the same period of the year before.  

Other revenues accumulated in the state social insurances budget amounted to 135.3 million lei, of which most part, 132.9 million lei, represented the share of the single tax collected from the residents of the information technology parks.

The transfers from the state budget were financed in an amount of 6,598.3 million lei, in accordance with the financing requirements, of which: 4,168.3 million lei – meant for payments of social assistance and other benefits, which under the legislation, are financed from the state budget, 2,430 million lei – meant for covering the deficit of the own revenues of the state social insurances budget.  

The overall expenses of the state social insurances budget on the concerned period were made in an amount of 13,647.9 million lei, which accounts for 51.7 per cent of the annual plan established of 26,400.5 million lei.  

The overall revenues exceeded by 830.8 million lei the total expenses of the state social insurances budget carried out.
