Current week starts with atmospheric instability in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has informed about a Yellow Code of atmospheric instability for today.

According to meteorologists, on the concerned period, thunderstorm rains are expected, heavy ones in some regions (15-20 litres per one square metre), accompanied by hail and strong wind, gusting to 15-20 metres/second.

On 20 July, the weather will slightly cool and the air temperatures will not be higher than +30 Celsius degrees during the day and will stay at +25 degrees at night.

In case of Yellow Code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous, the forecast meteorological phenomena are usual for Moldova; yet, they may temporarily become dangerous for certain social and economic activities.
