Additional Baccalaureat session starts in Moldova

Chisinau, 20 July /MOLDPRES/ - The additional session of Baccalaureate examinations has started in Moldova. The first exam took place in the Romanian language and literature (for people speaking other languages) on 19 July. As many as 214 graduates of the lyceum syllabus in the classes/education institutions where subjects are taught in the languages of ethnic minorities took the exam at those 14 Baccalaureate Centres set up for holding the additional session.
The examination in the language in which the subjects are taught take place today, in which 545 candidates participate. ‘’As many as 1,138 candidates will participate in the exam in the foreign language on 21 July. A number of 2,032 candidates will participate in the fourth exam, scheduled for 22 July, who will take the examination in the specialty discipline. The exam at will take place on 23 July, in which 261 candidates will participate, the Education, Culture and Research Ministry said.
The last Baccalaureate exam of the additional session will be held on 26 July. On this day, three candidates will take the exam in the mother language.
The examination tests will be verified during 20-26 July and the results will be posted at the Baccalaureate Centres on 28 July. The candidates in the Baccalaureate examination will have at their disposal 48 hours to submit appeals on 28-29 July. The final results, after the appeals are considered, will be announced on 2 August.
