Meteorologists issue warnings of atmospheric instability, strong wind in Moldova

Chisinau, 20 July /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has forecast a Yellow Code of atmospheric instability for today.

According to meteorologists, on the concerned period, thunderstorm rains are expected (15.35 litres per one square metre in places), accompanied by strong wind gusting up to 15-20 metres/second and hail.

On 21 July, the weather will slightly cool and the air temperature will stand at +28 Celsius degrees all over Moldova during the day and will decrease to +20 degrees at night. A Yellow Code of strong wind is forecast for 21 July.

In case of Yellow Code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous, the forecast meteorological phenomena are usual for Moldova; yet, they may temporarily become dangerous for certain social and economic activities.
