Over 128 million lei invested in 13 projects in north Moldova in first half of 2021

Chisinau, 21 July /MOLDPRES/ - The North Regional development Agency (ADR Nord) turned to account 128 million lei for the carrying out of 13 projects in Moldova’s northern districts in the first half of this year. The information was unveiled at the third ordinary meeting of the North Regional Development Council (CRD Nord) on 20 July.
According to the director of ADR Nord, Maria Prisacari, the Agency managed four development projects financed from the National Regional Development Fund (FNDR), with 26.85 million lei turned to account.
“On the concerned period, ADR Nord specialists were involved in activities of implementing five projects financed by the European Union, turning to account 101.1 million lei to this end. At the same time, ADR Nord in the first half of 2021 also managed another four projects financed by the governments from the Czech Republic, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, as well as other partners, turning to account 194,039 lei on this purpose,’’ Prisacari said.
The projects implemented cover four intervention sectors: water supply; energy efficiency of public buildings; business infrastructure and tourism.
CRD Nord is a deliberative regional structure, without legal personality, set up to elaborate, coordinate and monitor regional development policies. CDR Nord includes the Balti municipality and the districts of Briceni, Donduseni, Drochia, Edinet, Falesti, Floresti, Glodeni, Ocnita, Rascani, Sangerei and Soroca.
