As many as 141 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 21 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,565 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 141 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which four import ones. As many as 258,237 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), two out of all new cases registered today are among medical employees (one physician and one medical assistant).

As many as 285 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 50 are in extremely serious condition (seven patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 570 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 19,656 are under supervision at home.

Another 92 people have been treated. As many as 251,125 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another three deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,232 people have died of coronavirus in all.
