Moldovan woman brought from Ukraine by SMURD service following traffic accident

Chisinau, 22 July /MOLDPRES/ - A 64-year-old woman has been carried by an ambulance of the Mobile Emergency Service for Resuscitation and Extrication (SMURD) in the wake of a traffic accident nearby the Chernihiv region of Ukraine.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU), the SMURD crew took over the patient from the hospital of the Nizhyn city. She was monitored on the way by physicians and para-physicians and, at the destination, she was hospitalized at the Chisinau-based Medical Emergency Institute. The patient did not have additional complications on the way to Moldova.
According to IGSU information, since early 2021, this has been the sixth SMURD cross-border intervention, made by the institution for Moldova’s citizens.
