Chisinau-based Botanical Garden to be supplied with centralized thermal agent

Chisinau, 22 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Public Institution National Botanical Garden (Institute) will benefit from services of supply with centralized heating, provided by the Termoelectrica stock company after a break of 20 years. For this, a contract on partnership was signed today on the reconnection of the complex of greenhouses and the block of laboratories to the centralized heating services and preparing domestic hot water.     

„Termoelectrica will put at the disposal of the Botanical Garden high quality services of thermal agent’s supply, which are to help preserve and cultivate collections of valuable plants owned by the institution, as well as ensure the comfort for the employees on the cold period of the year,’’ the commercial director of Termoelectrica stock company, Victor Puiu, said.     

 „Due to the cooperation with Termoelectrica, we will manage to create conditions necessary for the development and increasing our collection of tropical and subtropical plans, which is presently made up of over 3,000 taxons,’’ the director of the Botanical Garden, Ion Rosca, said.

As a result of this partnership, Termoelectrica assumes investments dealing with the designing and setting of an Individual Thermal Point (PTI) and exterior thermal networks – works which are to be carried out till 1 December. On the other hand, the Botanical Garden will ensure the reliable work of the internal system of thermal energy and hot water distribution.
