As many as 128 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 22 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,213 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 128 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which five import ones. As many as 258,365 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), one out of all new cases registered today is among medical employees (one medical assistant).

As many as 210 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 50 are in extremely serious condition (seven patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 601 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 20,612 are under supervision at home.

Another 117 people have been treated. As many as 251,242 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another four deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,236 people have died of coronavirus in all.
