Warning of weather instability, heat - SHS says

Chisinau, 2 August /MOLDPRES/- The State Hydrometeorological Service announced today yellow code of atmospheric instability.

According to meteorologists, until tomorrow electric discharges are expected, heavy rain (15-20 l / m2) accompanied by hail and storms of up to 15-20 m / s.

At the same time, on August 2, the yellow heatwave code is maintained in the country, and the air temeprature will reach up to 35 degrees during the day and up to 23 degrees at night.

From 3 August the weather will cool down a bit and will be between 25-30 degrees Celsius during the day and 15-20 degrees at night.

In case of yellow code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous, the forecast meteorological phenomena (rain, electric discharges, strong wind, high or low temperatures, risk of increase of flows and levels in rivers and streams, etc.) are common for the territory of the country, but they can temporarily become dangerous for certain socio-economic activities.
